
Matt Thomson | Director and Principal Structural Engineer
Director and Chartered Structural Engineer Matt Thomson oversees all of Metamorphosis Engineering’s projects. He has more than 16 years’ experience in the field and has worked on projects all around the world while being based across Australia and the UK. Matt specialises in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, energy and civil structures. He has extensive experience in structural steelwork design, post-tensioned and reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, aluminium, glass and steel-framed facade design. In addition to his engineering skills, Matt has successfully managed a variety of large national and international projects from concept to completion, managing diverse teams and building strong client relationships to ensure the desired outcomes. In 2016, Matt finished working for a multinational engineering firm and founded Metamorphosis Engineering in Adelaide, South Australia. Metamorphosis Engineering now employs a small team and continues to grow due to Matt’s dedication to his clients and projects.
